Determined to experience my own adventures with travels, and gain self-awareness and balance in my life, I embarked on a trip of a lifetime in March 2011. The first stop? The city/country of Singapore. After a 15hr flight, I stepped into Changi Airport. Rightfully a world all on its own with free foot massages, spas, mini hotel, shops, restaurants, loungers to sleep in, a smoking area filled with large sunflowers, free wifi and gardens complete with ponds. That was only the airport, now the city? The country? Well…I instantly fell in love.
View from inside the Singapore Flyer. The worlds largest observation wheel, standing 165m tall. On a clear day to can see Malaysian in the distance. At night the view is beyond gorgeous overlooking the city.
This video was taken on my first night in Singapore. I stayed at the Porcelain Hotel, which was by far th SMALLEST hotel room EVER, and I LOVED it! Perfect for the solo traveler just looking to freshen up and relax before the next adventure.
