Clean Eating Sweet Tooth Trail Mix

You know the moments, the ones when you’re stuck in traffic, pinned to your desk at work or running around and all you see is fast food options – everywhere!?!? Or worse, no options? Eeeekkk! You’re so hungry you’d eat anything.

I’m not sure about you, but I pretty much turn evil when hungry (just ask my family) so going hungry isn’t a viable choice. *giggle* Staying healthy means keeping healthy options on hand.  One saving grace for my rushed life and sweet tooth is this trail mix.

It’s not always easy to find clean eating options. Most dried fruits and nuts have additives such as oil, sugar, salt…Actually I find dried fruit deceptive, you think you’re eating smart then you check the label – BAM! Added sugar. Ugh. Like fruit needs more sugar?!?!

So searching the bulk food stores, I found my little piece of heaven.


Satisfyingly sweet (and amazingly clean eating)!


  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup organic tart cherries
  • 1 cup organic dark chocolate covered cocoa nibs
  • 2 cups goji berries


  • Mix all ingredients together. Voila!
